For well over a century, Salem has been bringing the love of Christ into the three neighborhoods where our church has been since 1884: North Denver, Downtown Denver, and now Southeast Denver.
Salem Church is a great place for relationships--with one another, with our community, and with God. Come discover the love!
We believe the Bible is for all of God's people, and that each person is of sacred worth, regardless of race, economic status, political party, gender identity, or sexual orientation. Written long ago, scripture shares ancient truths that are relevant today.
We endeavor to welcome and love all who come to Salem Church, and will do the same for you.
"Salem" is the same as the Hebrew word, "shalom," which basically means "peace," but is also bound with other meanings like tranquility, security, and grace. It is also a blessing given as a "hello" or "goodbye," and is our blessing to you today.
